Step 1

Crumble the tofu as finely as possible into a bowl. Add all the remaining ingredients and mix well until evenly combined. If the mixture feels too dry to hold together, add 1-2 tbsp water and mix again. It should be bindable, but not wet.

Helloooo! I was hopping to make these tomorrow and just realised the rice paper I thought I had bought are actually spring roll wrappers 🤦🏻‍♀️ Do you think it would work? Feel like a bit of a numpty 🙄💚

Ooh are the spring roll wrappers pastry like, or more like summer roll wrappers? If they're more like summer roll wrappers it should work but it will turn out differently with pastry style spring roll wrapper. Could be nice, but hard to say because we haven't tried it like that. Hope it works out, let us know!

Loved them. Some didn’t stick together in the wrap but I’ll fix that next time. Great addition to a sushi night in my house

Can you make these without an airfryer?

Yes! They can be cooked in the oven, but will need a bit longer - same temperature. And they may not go quite as crispy. Hope you enjoy them! ~Jess
