Notes

If you don't plan to eat it all immediately, we recommend storing the sauce separately, rather than stirred into the pasta as it will reheat better that way. We used Fusilli Bucati Lunghi pasta because we liked how curly it looks (easily swayed at the supermarket!) but you can use any type of spaghetti or pasta shape.

This was very rich! But delicious. Any way to tone down the richness? I also felt there was too much sauce for the amount of pasta. I use some protein pasta too, so this really packed a wallop if protein and fiber.

So glad you enjoyed it! For richness, there is lemon juice to help balance it out, so you could slightly increase that by 1/2 tbsp or add something like apple cider vinegar which would do the same job, but it is a rich and creamy one! Ooh love protein pasta too, good to know it works well with it! If it's too much sauce for you, maybe try doing more pasta and you could get an additional serving out of it. Jess 💕

We used raw and one of the steps is to roast them, but if you can just skip that step if you buy them already roasted!
